Thank you for visiting the new site - I have switched formats as it is faster to set up than the web site and this will also allow you to add comments and post news through the comments section yourself. So I hope you like using this and don't mind the change. HAPPY HOUR
The next Happy Hour will be held on Friday, June 5th starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Mason Jar in Mahwah. The Mason Jar is located at 221 Ramapo Valley Rd. It will be nice to have a good turn-out...come and have fun with good company. Bring your cameras and send me pictures to post in the next update.

"I work as a Special Education Teacher in the middle school here in New Canaan,CT. I love CT but miss Mahwah! This is my first full time teaching position, Iwent back to school in 2001 and graduated with my master's degree in 2004. I worked part time for a while, now I have no life! Hope next year is better. My kids are both in High School, a senior and a freshman. My husband has his own company: Reputation Garage, a consulting/marketing co. for businesses."

Classmates on Facebook
This year several classmates have found their way onto Facebook, so I started a group for our class and friends of our class (Mahwah High School Class of 76). It is just one more way to stay connected. Facebook can also be a great time-waster with the games and socializing. :-) Cardon Raquet (MHS 79) has also started a group - "You Know You're From Mahwah If...." To join these groups, just go to http://www.facebook.com/ and become a member then do a group search. From there you can find classmates and click to connect as a Facebook friend with them.
This is all the news for now. Thank you for those who submitted to this update! I am keeping the old site up for a while (www.geocities.com/mahwahhighschool1976 ) in case you didn't read the last update from October. Eventually I will just post a link to this blog on that site.
